Reading Part D: Trivikarma's Secret

I like how Vishnu is the connector of both Lakshmi and Saraswati. They in other words would never stay in the same place together for long. Like Vishnu said “they don’t see eye to eye” with each other. This I feel is because they are both dominant figures. I feel though that they should be viewed by everyone as Vishnu views them. When Lakshmi is around all the attention goes to her. Just as what the children of Kashyapa did, and in doing so they lost Lakshmi.  This makes Saraswati mad, and she leaves. After watching that when the Pandavas lost Lakshmi and Saraswati helped them understand the role of Lakshmi in their life, I was shocked. Why would someone show how to appreciate another if they were the ones making them feel hurt. I am also focused on the explanation of how Asuras aren’t “evil” or “bad” and how Devas aren’t necessarily “good”. I definitely confined to this thought when I first heard of the Asura’s and Deva’s. I understand that the Hindu world doesn’t really think of there to be an evil to exist. This I think is why the way to think that Asuras are evil is invalid. This is because Hinduism believes in rebirth and Karma. I understand Karma because I believe in Karma. In the end of the video it goes over the fact that we need to have Lakshmi and Saraswati arrive in our lives simultaneously which I agree with a hundred percent. I am unsure if the difference is what I believe what it is, which is spiritual and material reality; but I feel that both are important. There some story ideas I want to write that make Lakshmi and Saraswati sisters. I feel that Saraswati is overlooked so this way I can write her to be a hard worker that never gets credit in the family.
