When first hearing that Vishnu had a female form I was a bit
confused. There weren’t any stories that I have read with a female version of
Vishnu. Mohini is the female version who represents material reality. I like
how she encompasses the male reality of spiritual reality, and in a way, to get
to that spiritual reality, you have to first go through the material reality.
Spiritual reality is just as equal as Material reality. Material reality is
used to please the five senses these are physical things. Spiritual growth is
about getting over emotions, things inside of the body. These two explanations
are interesting, since it was described that men represent spiritual reality
and was to be from the out of body when producing a child, and vice versa. Can
both forms of Vishnu reach Ananta, or can only the man form reach that state?
Greed also stood out in part two of the videos. I like the
comparison made that Animals fight and mark their territory for survival while
humans goal is otherwise. We tend to become greedy and want more and more from
earth to be our own. When one is not greedy and can give up to others what they
have it can be a form of Dharma, while Adarma can be represented by one who
takes from another. If anyone was to act like an animal, they are practicing the
form of living in the jungle. This way Ram a form of Vishnu believed that if
one acted that way then they deserved to die in that manner. There are so many
things that I can focus on. I also want see if I can mix ideas together, but
still keep to the main focus on each point. I feel that Mohini is someone that
can be hard to write about, but her story is the most interesting to me.
