Reading Notes: The Ramayana, Part D

Reading Notes
Ravana is a very strong character. He feels invincible and that no one could destroy him. I like how Hanuman played a mini trick on him and let himself be captured. I could continue with the basketball story, and add Ravana as one of the players that opposed to Rama. He could have the lead score and his team could be winning. This can entitle the part where Ravana has Sita guarded by his demons. Hanuman can come into the game being Rama’s guard. When he tries to shoot, Hanuman can go and defend against Ravana. Rama can score a three pointer, and Ravana’s couch (his brother Vibhishana ) can tell him to be careful, not get too caught up with Rama, and watch for other players as well. The game can start to get out of hand, and Ravana can cause random fouls to occur, giving the other team free throw points. This can then anger his couch ( Vibishana) and cause him to take Ravana off the court. Since Ravana is a stubburn character he will not listen. As from the story, Vibishana goes to Rama and trys to settle the battle on his own. Since in the end, he ends up helping Rama, and goes against his own brother, the couch therefor ends up giving advice to Rama on how to score on Ravana.

I could change the story to a man battling in a fight to the death battle with a demon animal. This is where Rama weakens Ravana out, but will not kill him till Ravana is conscious again.

I found it very interesting that though Rama was in desperation to find Sita, he found the need to test her before accepting her back as being his wife. Although I created story lines for my reading prior to this part of the story, I really want to write a story about Sita, and how she proved to be pure.
